What have i learnt today?

I've learnt that when you drop a bog roll while wiping you shouldn't try to catch it, you should let it fall. In fact, i don't think i learnt it today, i merely realised that i already knew this. Well, my body seemed to know it, anyway. At first i thought i let the roll out of laziness. I knew that i could simply pick it up from the floor so why bother trying to fumble after it. But then i realised. If i tried to catch it as it fell, chances are i would keep hold of the loose end of the paper and as it fell and rolled along the floor it would unravel itself. By letting it go my body seemed to know that this would simply cause it to fall to the floor and roll along the floor without shedding paper. This saves me having to try to roll the paper back on - an impossible task, i'm sure you'll agree.

So, it wasn't laziness that made me give up trying to catch it, it was common sense.

Now, not putting the roll on the holder in the first place...that was lazy.
