Being the vain person that I am I quite often conduct 'vanity searches' on google.com - this is where you search for your own name and see what comes up.
I normally only do this with web sites but I thought I would try the 'groups' search within Google.
Shit, it's bloody frightening. Stuff that I wrote when I was a spotty teenager that didn't know any better is still there! Doesn't this stuff ever get deleted? Where is all this shit stored?
I don't remember writing most of the shit, but it's certainly very interesting to have a look back over the stuff - and see what answers have been provided since I last checked.
Bloody scary, that's what it is. I think it's about time I stopped using my real name on the net...but something tells me the damage has already been done.
